About Lauren

Lauren spent two decades running a successful business while still feeling stressed about finances. Her story is why this practice exists — and why you'll never feel judged here.

Sound familiar?

Something about money feels off, and you're not totally sure what. Maybe you're anxious every time a bill shows up, even when you can cover it. Maybe you've been meaning to sit down and look at your accounts for months now and just... haven't. Or maybe you've got a sense that you should have this figured out by now, at your age.

That's who Sage Financial Renewal is for. Adults, couples, small business owners — people who don't need a 12-week course or a program built for someone starting from zero. What you need is steady, one-on-one support from someone who can guide you to make significant progress. This is where you get your money house in order, at whatever pace works for you.

Lauren's Story

I ran my own HR consulting business for almost 22 years. Successful, by every outside measure — steady clients, good income, the whole picture. And behind that, I was stressed about money. Tax season made my stomach hurt every year. There was this low hum of anxiety anytime money came up, even though I was doing "fine on paper".

I had a bookkeeper, accountant, a financial planner– AND the anxiety was still there.  After months of listening to my worries, my boyfriend suggested I talk to a money coach.

Session by session with my coach, I got organized. I was able to see a greater picture and how I could direct the flow of money towards the financial security I was looking for. The anxiety that had been sitting on my chest for years finally let up. That's when I knew I wanted to do this for other people, so in 2006 I closed my business and became a Certified Financial(tm) Recovery Counselor through the Financial Recovery℠ Institute.

Why my experience matters here:

I want you to feel confident that you're working with someone who actually knows this territory — both the technical side and what it's like to live it. Here's what I bring:

Once you're already moving on that plan, we'll dig into the beliefs and habits that had you stressing over money in the first place.

If that sounds like what you need, take a look at how money coaching works and book a 30-minute intro call to discuss coaching for you.
